Originally from Iowa, Kim Marie made her way “out West” and landed in Ashland over twenty years ago. She has a Master of Science Degree in marine geochemistry and was an All-American synchronized swimmer at the University of Michigan. In addition to her love of nature, animals, and kids, Kim Marie has a passion for outdoor activities—especially hiking, slot canyoneering, outrigger canoe paddling, and body-boarding. Since she discovered pickleball, Kim Marie spends a bit less time scrambling around on rocks and more time on the courts.
